Trump has Lost; Americans are Celebrating in the Streets; Trump, McConnell, and Barr Continue to Ignore the Will of the People

When the final tally of all votes is completed, Joe Biden will have won the popular vote by nearly five million ballots. This should decide the winner of every presidential election; the people have spoken. However, the Electoral College is currently the deciding factor. President-elect Biden will have a total of 306 electoral votes; 270 are needed to win.

Immediately after the networks declared Biden the winner on Saturday morning, the streets in our country, Canada, and Europe were filled with celebrations. This had never happened before, with the exception of in a few places when President Obama won in 2008.

However, this has not stopped Trump, Moscow Mitch, and Bill Barr from whining and attempting to discredit Biden’s victory. These old, white men, and others who pretend to be Republicans are traitors to our nation and continue to spit on the Constitution.

There is not a shred of evidence that fraud was involved in the election, but this hasn’t stopped Trump, the Trump Party, and his stooges on Fox News from attempting to create conspiracy theories. Only a few Republican politicians in Washington have decided to respect the process.

The truth is that this election was similar to all elections. Not once have all the ballots been counted on election day. This election is different because of the pandemic, and the fact that the Republican led legislature in Pennsylvania changed the laws, refusing to count absentee ballots until the closing of the polls.

Because of Trump and his cronies extra caution was taken in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, and Arizona. This may have been the most carefully monitored election ever conducted in modern times.

Joe Biden is the ‘president elect,’ and will become our 46th on January 20, 2021.
