Why Historians Will Remember Trump as the Worst President in History
America has been blessed/cursed with 45 presidents. There have been 44 men who wore the title of President of the United States; Grover Cleveland was our 22nd and 24th president. Only a number you can count using one hand can be considered “great;” only a few more “good.” Most were simply adequate, and the list for the category of “horrible” is growing.
However, there is no contest for the worst of all time; Donald John Trump. The evaluation of a president only requires a single question: “what did that president accomplish for the people of our nation.” Trump has done nothing for any American with the exception of 614 billionaires and 18.6 million millionaires. Both of these numbers grew during Trump's single term in office, from 546 billionaires and 11 million millionaires.
If his unconstitutional and criminal actions over four years were not enough to cement Trump's place in history, the last 12 days guarantee that he will never be replaced as the worst in America's history.
The truth is that Trump had his humongous derriere kicked in the 2020 election. When the last votes were counted, Joe Biden separated himself from Trump by more than five million votes in the popular count, and has 306 electoral votes, but Trump continues in denial, refusing to concede victory for president-elect Biden. This is an unforgivable act committed by an illegitimate president who continues to believe he is a king or a dictator.
But the schoolyard bully didn't stop there. On Sunday, Trump's supporters, including “the Proud Boys,” “the Boogaloo Bois,” QAnon, and other white supremacist and Neo-Nazi groups, crawled out from their cesspools and descended on Washington D.C. Although Trump supporters claimed the “Million MAGA March” was attended by one million supporters, the truth is there were about 10,000 fascists present.
To praise them, Trump drove through the crowd. He didn't stop to speak to them because he was on his way to one of his golf courses. He has his priorities.
Because Trump is the leader of white supremacy in America, this is another factor in the reason that he will forever be remembered as the worst illegitimate president in history.
Finally, we must never forget that Trump was impeached. If the Republican Party existed today, he would have been removed from office after his trial in the senate. Instead, Moscow Mitch McConnell created a sham.
Even a cursory review of Trump's failures over four years will reveal the fact that every issue facing America on January 20, 2017 continues to be a problem today. Trump's record is zero for zero. Nothing attempted; nothing accomplished.
